Rain…where are you?

This week was all about getting the house ready to sell. You realize how much crud you have when you have de-clutter and ‘stage’ your home. I remember when we were looking at houses that clutter made a big difference in our first impressions of the homes. We ended up putting much of Tommy’s toys and stuff from the study in the garage and hopefully people will look past that. HOPEFULLY there will actually be “people” looking at our house! This is such a bad time and on top of the economy, it really slows down after school starts. Many families don’t want to move after starting school so anyway, we’ll see.
On Sunday we had Papa snap a few pictures of us before church. One-because Tyler was in his cute onesie, and Two-because I wanted some pictures of us in front of our house, not knowing when our last time there would be.

On top of having to get the house ready, we were stuck inside regardless because of the 40+ days of triple digit heat. During the week Tommy and I had been talking about the rain and I started singing, I’m Singin’ in the Rain” I showed him a little clip of that show which I loveWinking smile and then he asked if we could dance in the rain. I said Yes! When it rains we will go sing and dance! Well…it looked very cloudy on Friday so we went outside for a bit and Tommy started yelling, "RAIN! Where arrrre youuuu????" It was pretty cute. I snapped some pictures of him playing around in the front yard and then pulled Tyler out to enjoy the clouds and cooler breeze too. We never got to play in the rain because it rained at night and then that morning we were headed to Houston ;( Maybe Amarillo will get some rain to dance in..hahaha we can dream can’t we?

You guys are moving? I haven't had the internet for what seems like forever, so I am out of the loop! Where are you guys going? Maybe I need to just read over past posts! Good luck with selling your house. I hope it goes well for you guys and that it will go fast!

I just saw your comment about the BYU game. Vaughn looked into it and it was going to be too expensive to fly. :( He also looked into driving an RV down and if we could find another couple to share the gas costs, we would definitely be there!
