Ruidoso, New Mexico

Matt, Tommy, and I had a great time with family this weekend. We went to Ruidoso where Matt's Nana, Aunts, and Uncles live. We stayed in a BEAUTIFUL home which, unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures of. We just relaxed, ate, and watched the MANY deer go by our windows. Tommy loved them! He also loved playing with his cousin Maggie. She's the best! She always takes care of him, giving him anything he drops or crawls away from ;) Tommy definitely has a soft spot for his Aunt Lori. He never failed to smile at her! or enjoy being held by her! We are looking forward to spending Halloween with them!

Grammy & Papa Weekend

We had a fun weekend with Grammy and Papa. It was like Christmas for Tommy! He was spoiled with lots of new (and much needed) clothes! Check out the hat-what a little stud!

Well, on Saturday Tommy's room was finailly painted! Yay! It turned out great thanks to Papa and Matt. Because of this, Tommy had to take his naps in our room, in the playpen. Although, as you can see below, there were no naps. He rarely is in the playpen so it was too new and exciting!

The largest part of the project was the chair rail. I really like it, especially with the two shades of blue. I can't wait to decorate!

On Sunday we drove to East Texas (Texarkana) to visit Papa's Aunt Alene. (about 3 1/2 hours) She was so happy to see us, especially Tommy. They have a little dog that Tommy loved! The dog became scared of him!

It was a great visit and we were happy Grammy and Papa came up and let us tag a long. The ride home on the other hand.....is another story. We took the wrong exit and to make a long story short, we were home 4 1/2 hours later. Well, Tommy had enough the last half hour and NOTHING would make him happy. So when we finally got home, we let him out of the car seat and he was squealing and crawling around in circles! It was hilarious! I only got a small clip of it but you'll get the idea!

More of Tommy and his new PJ's.

Monday morning Papa took Tommy for a walk and he was out like a light! Of course, he gets to rest with Grammy.

....another new outfit-he looks so big!

Our 9 Month Little Man

It becomes more and more difficult to get these pictures! He doesn't hold still for a second!

(Checking himself out in the mirror)

I was finally able to get some pics of Tommy's teeth! There are 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. Here are is 9 month pictures. His doctors appointment went well! He weighs 19 lbs. 12 oz. and is 29 inches long! (Almost time for a new car seat) He is a little under the 50th percentile this time but the doctor said this is normal due to all his activity (crawling, pulling up, cruising.) Tommy is at such a fun age right now. He is so interactive and his personality is really showing! He said "Dadada" for the first time yesterday (10/14/09). He also pulled up to the wall and then let go, standing for a few seconds on his own! I was just as excited as he was! Each new development is such a thrill and joy! I love being a mom!

Our Punkin' at the Pumpkin Patch

Tommy comes with me when I go to Young Women's and Wednesday we went to a pumpkin patch. It was prettu chilly so Tommy wore his winter coat for the first time. He wasn't a fan of the furry-edged hood that kept falling over his face, but he was warm! We were supposed to go on a hay ride but it was too muddy. So they youth ended up playing in the bounce houses while Tommy and I watched.

A Little Resemblance? ;)

So I was looking through my baby scrapbook and found this picture. I couldn't believe how much it looked like Tommy.
Well, I thought I would just post it, but then this morning Tommy was asleep in our bed and I thought I'd take a picture, putting them side by side. I didn't even realize his hand was in the same position and everything!...definitely my boy and a cute one at that!
