We finally had Tyler blessed on Friday, the 25th, the day after Thanksgiving in Utah. Mona, Doug, Autrey, Shilo, Lori, and Danny decided to spend Thanksgiving in Utah so that’s why we did it then. It was great to have both sides of the family there, along with great friends. Matt gave Tyler a beautiful blessing at my mom’s church. Although he wasn’t real smiley, he really didn’t fuss during it, and was pretty mellow the rest of the night. He was such a handsome little guy! We love him SO very much and are so thankful he is a part of our family!
A few things Tyler was blessed with:
- a great love for the gospel
- health and strength
- a strong mind to excel in scholarly studies and the study of the gospel, to truly come to know our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ
- a love and openness for the Spirit
- joy, happiness
- desire to serve an honorable mission
- always be willing and have the capacity to serve in any calling given
- a love for the temple and a desire to go there often
- help others throughout his life and be a good example to them
