Buster and Shorty enjoying milkshakes
Aunt Susan brought the horse swing made out of a tire. Tommy didn’t really enjoy it until the last day of our trip, when Uncle Autrey pushed him on it, calling his name “Good Year” hahaha
One afternoon we went to Fun Trackers and Jarod was a good sport, taking Tommy on the go-carts and bumper boats!
The Beautiful View
Jarod was a good buddy for Tommy. We went on a few walks during the week and one of them was passing by Jarod’s girlfriend’s house, Erin. She is sweet. Jarod and Erin mentioned they were going to watch a movie. Tommy said he wanted to go into Erin’s house and watch too. I said, no, just Jarod. Then he said in a pouty voice, “I don’t want her to share Jarod!!!” Not exactly what he meant but it was pretty cute.
Finally Tommy was brave enough to ride the lawn mower with Jarod, after only sitting and playing on it the first few days!
Tyler also started really walking. One night he was playing in the living room floor and just stood up, and walked across the room! He really impressed all of us, especially Nana! He stilled crawled most of the time but occasionally took a 'stroll' :)
All tuckered out at Nana’s
Matt came in late Tuesday night and we stayed at the condos for the rest of the week. The two monkeys liked to climb along the bars on the balcony.
On the 4th, we went fishing at this stock pond. Matt mainly caught the fish but Tommy was a good helper! They made you use their own bamboo poles so Tommy was a little disappointed he couldn’t use his Cars fishing pole. They ended up catching 6 fish with the bait they gave them, which Tommy asked if it was poop….it did kind of look like it, being a brown piece of clay. Papa would take the fish off the hook…they were a good team. After 2 fish were caught Tommy looked inside the bucket and said, “Mommy, that one is opening and closing his mouth and THAT one is sleeping.” Yep….sleeping
Feeding the fish grass
I held the pole long enough for Matt to take this picture….and scare the crud out of me
I was watching the line and thought I felt a bite when Matt poked my sides…mean but funny, I admit.

The rocks were actually what Tommy was MOST interested in-
Here he was tipping forward in the chair-a miracle he didn’t fall in right then, or from just goofing around!
Tyler fell asleep on the way and Mimi stayed in the car with him. When he woke up, Daddy showed him a fish and his face shows exactly what he thought of it! He did touch it though, and then gave the face again.

Papa fried the fish up but despite calling it chicken, Tommy would only have one bite and was done. He does like fish sticks though!
By the end of the trip, Tyler was giving out ALL kinds of sugar! In these pics he was alternating between Mimi and Nana.
Heading to the fireworks!
Buster, Shorty, and Mia
Before the big fireworks started, people were lighting their own. Tyler loved them! Some people were pretty careless with them though, and started this fire right next to us. Thankfully Buster and Papa took care of it.
Tommy had fallen asleep on the way there and we had to wake him up. He snuggled onto Papas lap as the fireworks began. None of my pictures of the actual fireworks turned out so this is it of the 4th!
My camera was close to running out of battery the rest of the trip but I snapped a few with my phone.
On Thursday we helped clean up Nana’s yard and then Mimi treated me to a mani/pedi
love those! Then Saturday the boys and Mimi went golfing. Then we stopped at the horse races and watched a few. This was Tyle’s face-
We also got to see Crystal and meet her new boyfriend Luke-the pilot. He was really nice and we hope to go visit them in Denver sometime.
Tyler helped clean up the condo with a wipe before we left
. I don’t think he charges too much if you want to hire him!
It was a fun trip and Tyler actually seemed to get a bit less detached. He went to Uncle Terry for a few seconds and Buster for almost a few minutes! Making progress!

you look super adorable holding that fishing pole, you should do it more often! ;)
Your boys are so cute! I love reading about Tyler because Elijah does so many of the same things! (like cleaning...)
The boys get cuter and more prescious every time I look at the blog.
